Rosa:
Wife, Mother, Friend & Fighter!
Four years ago, our mother Rosa involuntarily stepped into the fight of her life by testing her strength of character through unrelenting pain in hopes of being cured of cancer. In 2009 our mother was not only diagnosed with an aggressive and rare form of breast cancer IBC, she was concurrently diagnosed with Epithelial Ovarian Cancer both at Stage IIIC. Although she is not quite in remission from IBC, her current battle is with Ovarian Cancer. Not only did this fight make an already devoted family more united, it also presented us with the opportunity to bring awareness to our local community and raise money for various non-profit cancer organizations. However as the treatments are becoming more aggressive and hospitalizations more frequent, we are asking for any support our mother can receive. As a result of the countless appointments and ER visits, the out-of-pocket expenses have become difficult to keep up with. It is amazing that our mother is more concerned with the financial burden this disease has placed on her family rather than focusing her energy to rid herself of cancer. Our father has been an amazing provider, supporter, father and husband, however he can only do so much.
Any support mom can receive will help her tremendously. We are touched by the support, love, and prayers our mother Rosa has received. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight!
