Rosalind T. "Oma" Medical Help Fund
Donation protected
On Monday, March 27, the car carrying Rosalinda (Rosalind) Lagos-Tegeler and her husband, Ernest Tegeler, crashed in the Arizona desert on their way back from Tucson. Rosalind was severely injured. Her neck was broken, and 8 ribs were crushed, leaving her partially paralyzed, on a feeding tube and a ventilator. Her insurance ran out 3 weeks ago and she is now forced to leave the respiratory hospital where the complications from her injuries rendered the hospital’s attempt to wean her off the ventilator unsuccessful. After two surgeries, severe pain, several procedures, and four months in the hospital, it is her wish to spend what time she has remaining at home. Money is needed to pay her current uncovered medical bills and to pay for home medical care. We are asking that anyone who knows Rosalind or has been the recipient of her kindness and generosity, donate to help offset these mounting medical expenses and to include her and the family in your prayers.
