Roof reconstruction for a dwelling-house in Irpin

Dear friends, please help us to restore and save the dwelling-house of 84 families in the center of the before time picturesque town of Irpin, on the outskirts of the capital Kyiv (Ukraine).

The terrible, cruel war!

This house was attacked with two high-explosive bombs. After the shelling, the roof and the top floor were completely burnt down, and all communications and the façade of the building were damaged. (The British online publisher THE Guardian wrote about our house - click here).

Despite the destructions, the house can still be rebuilt.

At present, the flat owners have already done a lot of work at their own expense: cleared the roof-top floor and the façade of the building of debris and large damaged building parts, removed the construction waste, carried out a damage expertise and ordered project documentation for the reconstruction of the apartment building and are preparing the load-bearing walls for the new roof. The costs of roof construction lonely is too expensive. We have succeeded in gathering some money, but the size of several homeowners' shares is beyond their financial means and we are forced to ask for your help in collecting the missing amount of 30000 EURO.

A house without a roof will unfortunately not survive the fall and winter, and soon it may be marked as dangerous and uninhabitable. We do not want this to happen! Please help us to save our home. Every cent is precious. Every contribution brings us closer to returning to our wonderful house.

Liebe Freunde, bitte helft uns, das Wohnhaus von meiner Eltern und noch 83 andere Familien im Zentrum der ehemals malerischen Stadt Irpin, im Kyiv Vorort (Ukraine), wiederaufzubauen und zu retten.

Der schreckliche, grausame Krieg!

Dieses Haus wurde mit zwei hochexplosiven Bomben beschossen. Nach dem Beschuss brannten das Dach und das oberste Stockwerk vollständig aus, und alle Leitungen und die Fassade des Gebäudes wurden beschädigt. Trotz der Zerstörungen kann das Haus wiederaufgebaut werden.

Derzeit haben die Hausbewohner auf eigene Kosten bereits viel Arbeit geleistet: es wurden bereits das Dachgeschoss und die Fassade des Gebäudes von Schutt und großen beschädigten Gebäudeteilen befreit, den Bauschutt ausgeführt, ein Schadensgutachten erstellt und die Projektdokumentation für den Wiederaufbau des Wohnhauses in Auftrag gegeben und die tragenden Wände für das neue Dach vorbereitet. Die Kosten für die Dachkonstruktion sind allein zu teuer. Es ist uns gelungen, etwas Geld zu sammeln, aber die Höhe der Anteile jeder Wohnung übersteigt die finanziellen Möglichkeiten der Bewohner und wir sind deshalb gezwungen, Ihr um Eure Hilfe zu bitten, um den fehlenden Betrag von 30000 EURO zu sammeln.

Ein Haus ohne Dach wird den Herbst und Winter leider nicht überstehen, und bald könnte es als gefährlich und unbewohnbar eingestuft werden. Wir wollen nicht, dass das passiert! Bitte helfen Sie uns, unser Haus zu retten. Jeder Cent ist wertvoll. Jeder Beitrag bringt uns der Rückkehr in unser wunderbares Haus näher.
