On September 27th, tragedy struck our dear friend Rolando Alvarez when he suffered sudden cardiac arrest in an ambulance outside his home. Not much needs to be said about Rolando, because his actions and the lives he’s touched speak for themselves. He is a husband, a son, a brother, and a friend. Anyone lucky enough to know Rolando knows that he never does anything half-way. Rolando loves deeply and is fiercely loyal. He dedicates himself to guiding others as a youth minister and has never failed to respond to a call for help.
Thankfully, Rolando survived his medical emergency, but after having no pulse for three minutes, he is now intubated on a ventilator in the ICU in critical condition . While his condition has continued to improve, he has a long and arduous journey ahead of him as he progresses through recovery and rehabilitation. Of course, this will make working an impossibility for him. We are calling on anyone who has had their lives touched by Rolando to help us support him and his amazing wife Breanna during this time.
