Roderick Allen Taylor Sr.

Hi, my name is Azalina Taylor. I am Roderick Taylor’s wife I am fundraising to help lay my husband to rest, medical debt left behind, and to help take care of our babies during this tough time.

Roderick Taylor Sr. age 31 (5/8/92 - 1/10/24) was an Amazing man, father, son, and husband. He was loved by everyone. He’s leaving behind our 3 beautiful babies. Roderick Jr age 7, Jr has not only his height and spitting image face but his strength. Zion age 5, he has his beautiful eyes, smile, and his charm. And Avianna age 3, she was his baby girl, she followed him everywhere and had her daddy wrapped around her finger and she has his heart. He was the best father I could ever ask for our babies and I hurt for them sooo much that they couldn’t spend the rest of their lives with him. He loved his kids more than anything in this world. He did everything he could for them, and we will forever be grateful for him. Watching him be a father made me a better mother. He taught our kids sports, taught them strength, played with them, took care of them, and most importantly, loved them more than I’ve seen any man love their kids. He was also an amazing husband. He treated me like a queen and I’ve never felt more loved by anyone stronger than by him! He is going to forever have a huge place in our hearts.

His love for football made a huge impact on so many peoples lives, from teammate to coach to fan, so many people looked to him as a brother/son not only just a friend. 2 championship rings and who knows how many trophies and medals over his years, his talent was captivating.

For the past few years Rod has been suffering from hundreds of violent seizures. We have been doing everything we could to find out why it had been happening and how we could fix it but unfortunately, we ran out of time. But knowing he’s no longer confused and in pain, is what we have to hold onto.
