Rocky Creek Farm Barn Fire & Animal Fund

Hey everyone!  It's LaVonne.  I am friends with Matt & Jacy.  We met many years ago when I saw an ad in the newspaper from a couple who wanted some land to farm.  They came out, a deal was made and they put peas in the ground on March 13, 2003.  They have come so far since that first acre and are now the proud owners of Gallatin Valley Botanical at Rocky Creek Farm.  They are some of the hardest workers I know and I am proud to call them my friends.   Not only do they work hard, they believe in the work they do.  Their work is worthy of believing in.  They grow food for people.  That's pretty worthy work.  
On the night of April 10th this hard-working family suffered a devastating fire at Rocky Creek Farm.  Their animal barn burned to the ground with 23 animals inside.   With their permission, I have created this page to help them rebuild.  
The structure was insured, but the contents were not covered.  Aside from the animals in the barn, they also lost their irrigation pump which was stored there for the winter.  This is an integral part of the farm. 
It has only been a few days and this loss is difficult to process, but in true Rothschiller style, they have  a plan in place with lots of offers in the form of labor and help.  These funds will allow them to get started on clean-up, rebuild and replacement right away.  
Piglets must be purchased, the kids hope to raise a few bottle lambs and Ania was just starting her own rabbit project.
