Robert Lamb Cancer Fund

My dad, Robert Lamb has been diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer beginning in 2017. Medicare will only cover 80% and there is no supplimental insurance after medicare that will cover him now that he has been diagnosed. They've applied for help and they do not qualify for any government benefits. We are asking for donations to help cover the costs that Medicare will not pay. He is unable to get any radiation or chemothereapy until he has at least  the cost of the radiation and chemoterapy treatments. Estimated about $6,000. That's not including the other medical bills they are struggling to pay.  He now has a feeding tube and is unable to eat any solid foods due to the cancer blocking his Esophagus. The protein shakes he needs to be fed are at least $2 a peice, and during chemotherapy and radiation he needs 8 of the shakes a day to keep his nurishment up. Thats $480.00 a month in just nurishment shakes to stay alive. The medical bills from his feeding tube surgery is adding up fast. It is not like our family to ask for help, but in this case its a life or death situation. They are confident they can treat the cancer successfully once he is able to start the treatments.  They believe they can shrink the tumor so he can eat normal again and remove the feeding tube.
