Rio's Study Abroad in Madrid, Spain

I'm currently a rising senior at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania concentrating in Management with a Specialization in Entrepreneurship & Innovation with a Minor in Spanish. Some of my extracurricular activities include President of the Intercultural Greek Council, Executive Board Member to the Mu Iota Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., 2017-2018 Penn Relays Step Show Committee Chair, and more. I also serve as a Supervisor to the Red & Blue Call Center and personally raised the highest amount in the center's 21 years of over $620,000 towards scholarship, financial aid, and operational funds for Penn. With all that being said, there is still one dream I haven't yet fulfilled: studying abroad in Spain!
Ever since the 9th grade, I've wanted to study in Spain and during the 10th grade, I applied for as many Spain summer abroad programs I could get my hands on. While, I was not accepted into the program to go to Spain, I was able to have an amazing 5 weeks in Chile due to the support of my family and friends and became even more confident in my Spanish speaking abilities. Yet, I still hadn't fulfilled my dream of studying in Spain.
I have now been granted that opportunity. I have been accepted to continue my Business Studies at the ICADE program at La Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid, Spain for the Fall Semester where I will be taking all of my Business and elective classes in Spanish. While my school is providing me some financial aid, there are a number of expenses that are not covered including: airplane tickets, homestay costs, transportation, books and supplies, visa fee, and more.
My family and I would appreciate any gift you can give that can help offset the cost of me being able to achieve my dream of studying in Spain.
