Hi! I’ve created this fundraiser on Riley’s behalf as a way for their friends and family to support them as they recover from gender-affirming surgery. Riley’s surgery is set for mid-October and the recovery period is approximately 3-4 weeks. They will be bed ridden for some time and be unable to work for a few weeks afterwards. They will require full-time care for the first few days and will need a lot of love and warmth around them as they heal!

Unfortunately, Riley does not have access to short-term disability and due to the last minute nature of the surgery (a month and a half notice), Riley will need support paying their bills such as rent, utilities, phone and food during their recovery. We would also like to set aside some funds for a high quality backrest for bed rest.
