Rhyia's JUMP for Stroke!

I will be skydiving 13000ft on May 26th. As many of you know, my nan has suffered many strokes in the last 3 years, which has not only imapcted her life, but ours too (her family). The case of my nans first stroke  was very rare, and extreme, causing her to spend around 2 to 3 years attempting to get back to her normal self; the kindest, most caring, funniest women who was always dancing, laughing, and running around like crazy trying to help everybody and make them happy. After, intense care, rehabilatation and nearly every medical professional telling her she would never read, write, speak, walk again- she did. However, just as my nan started to feel comfotable doing things on her own again, she had another two strokes. Devastatingly, this time shes in an even worse state. She's curently in a nursing home, unable to walk, eat, talk or even stretch a smile. My family and I, visit her 24/7 not knowing whether she can see us, hear us, or has any knowledge we are there. This breaks our hearts, and I want to do something to help, so that no other families have to suffer what we have been for so long. My nan is my best friend, and for the majority of my life we have spent every day together, and the times she hasnt been near me, theres not a day that would go by where i wouldnt phone her for a chat. I miss this so so much and although its hard to stay positive, i still hold onto the fact that she could get better. Any money at all that goes into the stroke association, will help, so maybe one day strokes wouldnt happen to anyone at all!
