Re-wiring for Shikshangram Girl's Hostel

I'm Shazar - and today its my job to support the kids at Shikshangram .. specially the girls. I've been working with Yogita Moon (the Mother to all these kids) for the past 12 years. I know this place very well. Yogita is like a little sister to me. I trust her implicitly.

She has asked me for help.. She doesn't often do that - only when she has reached the end of her tether trying to get funding from the local folks and businesses in India. This time she came to me to request help with getting the girls hostel rewired. They have been given a fabulous gift.. a chapati machine which is so needed for all of these kids (120 currently).

BUT they can't use it because their antique and cobbled together electricity supply simply won't take the load.

So they are getting rewired and a new and separate main board for the girls building. And of course this needs funding. They have no government help.. all their needs come from the kind and generous nature of people and businesses around them.

This time it is up to us.. Yogita's friends - that's us.. and our friends. Can we come together on this and if we each put in what we can the AUD 3600 that is needed will be raised very quickly.

I am going to thank you right now.. because I know how generous you are and I know that you also love and cherish Yogita and understand what an amazing human being she is.

She has been a light shining for those kids for as long as I have known her .. and longer.. her life is about taking care of them.. these street kids who now have a mother - her name is Yogita Moon.

I know giving funds is sometimes problematic.. but in this case I am completely above board and have a very good understanding of where this money will go and what it is to be spent on. These funds are needed urgently - the work is already started - I have already sent a good down payment to them so they can go ahead - but lets not wait as children need to be cared for daily.
