The foundational framework of music may be fading away. Livejazzandblues.com is seeking financial support to preserve the largest live jazz archive of original second-generation artists to date in the Delaware valley, city of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania suburbs. This abstract culture known as Jazz has been captured by Carvel Watson since the early 80's. Currently, these jazz greats are housed on analog VHS and 3/4 inch pro videotape. With your donation, we will be able to restore and convert these timeless artifacts to a digital DVD format so, that they will last forever. Help us Persevere this American cultural art-forum. As the legendary performances and interviews lie in a video archive every day, we are running the risk of losing these valuable learning tools for future generations forever. Each day they sit in the video archive we may be losing the video control track with the content pixelating that is necessary for new and future generations to relive and study the creation and science of true jazz music.
The preservation of these archives is important to future musicians worldwide.
