Help Tiffany Baxter of Freeland Farms Recover From Devastating Flooding
Tiffany Baxter—beloved butcher, farmer, and friend—is facing a heartbreaking crisis. The proud owner of Freeland Farms and Backyard Butchery in Harrah, Oklahoma, Tiffany has poured her heart and soul into raising heritage Gloucestershire Old Spot Hogs and building a life rooted in stewardship, sustainability, and community.
Now, she needs our help.
Recent catastrophic flooding has devastated her farm, property, and personal belongings. To make matters worse, the situation was made far more severe by neighboring land alterations that directed stormwater directly onto her property—effectively turning her home and farm into a floodplain. Because her house was has not yet been affected insurance will not cover any personal property losses. She has lost an irreplaceable amount of personal property with no compensation or assistance.
Tiffany is not asking for a handout—she’s asking for a hand up to recover and prevent this from happening again. Funds raised will go directly to:
Installing a larger culvert and bridge to properly manage future water flow and protect the farm infrastructure
Legal consultation and advocacy to hold neighboring parties accountable for redirecting water and causing preventable damage
Replacing lost essentials needed to keep the farm and her household running
Tiffany has shown up for her community time and time again, sharing her knowledge, labor, and heart. Let’s rally behind her now and help restore what’s been lost—and protect what remains.
Any amount helps. Please share and donate if you’re able. We are also in need of volunteers to help with dirt work or legal counseling.
Thank you for supporting Tiffany, her family, and the future of Freeland Farms.
