Restore Chuck’s cabin destroyed by black bear
Donación protegida
Hi friends, this is Michelle. I’m hoping you can all find it in your hearts to help Chuck Ashdown restore his family cabin that was left to him by his late father. Unfortunately, because the land is not attached to a postal code, it is uninsurable. A black bear came into the cabin by breaking several windows, and completely destroyed the place. He ate all the food, ripped cupboards off the wall and smashed dishes, tv, destroyed the propane fridge and annihilated the place. He also destroyed much of the furniture, couches, beds, dressers. All the cupboards need to be replaced, the flooring and the deck and railings. This cabin is Chuck’s home, where he operates his trap line, that is his main source of income. It is also the hub for his family to participate in their lifestyle of hunting, trapping, drying wild meat and other cultural activities. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This has been devastating for him and his family.
