Rescue TN Walking Horse needs our help!

Hello. My name is Amber. My significant other and I run a farm that we named Dream Catcher Acres. We are located in very small town (Glennie) that is located in Northern Michigan. We raise livestock, have personal pets and also regularly rescue wild and domestic animals alike.
We have recently taken in a Tennessee Walker gelding named Mamba who was saved from being sent out to slaughter. Because he has had no training and seemingly no bonding with people in his approximate 20 years he has been labeled a "dangerous horse". The woman who stepped in to save him from going to slaughter searched to find a home for Mamba where he wouldn't hurt anyone, or get hurt himself. She chose us for his placement! And now we are beyond committed and absolutely in love with this beautiful boy!
We have had Mamba on our farm for just shy of one month now. After spending daily time with him and observing his mannerisms I beg the differ on him being "dangerous". Mamba is NOT a dangerous horse. He is simply a confused, uneducated one, that becomes aggitated when expected to do things he's never been taught. I feel like no one has ever "listened" to him so he does not feel inspired to listen to people. When asked to do things he can get difficult to deal with- nipping, walking right through you or trying to kick. We've had a few heart thumping moments in the pasture that leave him and I both feeling uneasy. I, myself, do not have the level of skill that Mamba needs to come out of his shell and shine. But I want so badly to be able to help him!
I recently found a training facility located in West Branch which is very reasonable distance from us. I feel Mamba would greatly benefit from their services. They have a program where he would go and stay there to be trained by a professional. The fees cover the cost of boarding, feed, care and the training. Unfortunately though- it is expensive! A minimum of two months is required at $1,100/month.
We would love to help Mamba shine as the wonderful horse that he is underneath 20 years of human damage. The desire to love and learn is in his eyes. He just does not know what to do with it! I have shared such beautiful moments with him and have been told he hasn't ever bonded to anyone.
After taking in multiple rescues this summer and adding 2 rescue horses in addition to all of our other furry and feathered farm kids we simply cannot afford to do this on our own.
My goal is to raise enough monies to send him for training for 3+ months minimum. We have 20 years of damage to undo! This beautiful, black Walker boy has never been given a chance- until now. I want to give him the best possible chance that I can! He really is a sweet, special guy. He just does not know how to be someone's horse as no one has ever shown him how.
Would anyone out there be willing to help us further aid in Mamba's in his rescue journey? We desperately want to help this boy rise to his full potential- not so he can serve us- so that we can love, work with and serve him for the rest of his days. Sometimes it takes a village to make a difference. We need that village right now! $3,000 is a lot of money to come from one source but if it came from many its really not a big number at all! If we could get 300 people to step up and donate just $10 we could easily and quickly meet our goal! I would like to have Mamba's training done over the Winter months so that come Spring he can be settled back in at home and with the better weather we could pick up where the trainer leaves off.
Tennessee Walkers are a very special breed with a lot of controversy surrounding them. Help us help this special guy. It would make all the difference in the World for him and us too!
Thank you for reading about our Black Mamba! Please feel free to share! We need all the help that we can get!

Many thanks and much love,
Amber & Dale of Dream Catcher Acres
