Hi,

My name is Isa Rudman and seven years ago I joined my family on a trip to Peru. When we visited Cusco we had the chance to visit a school for the deaf called San Francisco de Asís that my mother had volunteered at more than 20 years earlier. We volunteered at the school and we met deaf children of all ages who were studying at a school that was underfunded and undersupplied.

It really made an impression on me and when it came time for my Bat Mitzvah, I decided that my Mitzvah (charitable) project would be to raise money for the school. We raised and sent money to the school to support them.

Now, 5 years later, the nuns of the school have reached out to me again because they have a major project that needs to be completed. The roof of their school is severely damaged (see pictures below) and the winter rains are coming. Please help us in raising the money to fix their roof! They need our help!
