Remembering Malik "Gone too soon"

This Sunday we lost Malik to gun violence, an innocent child gone too soon.  We are shocked and deeply saddened at the unfairness and senselessness that took him away from us. Malik was a wonderful person inside and out.  He held a place in the heart of everyone who came along his path. He was beyond excited about returning to school as a senior along with his siblings who loved and cherished him dearly.  Malik was always full of jokes and laughter, and truly made you appreciate the simple joys in life. Unfortunately, we are in a position today that we never thought we would be in.  We had to say goodbye, much sooner than we could have ever thought.  

We ask for your help during this tragic time. Please help to support his loving mother and immediate family, no amount is too little.  All donations will be received by his mother, Christy and  go towards funeral services and arrangements.  Although he is no longer with us physically his spirit and memory still lives through his family and all those he encountered.

Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower, we still cling to your steadfast word.  2 Cor 1:5 "For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too."
