On Saturday 22nd December we received the tragic news our friend and brother Kieran had passed away whilst on holiday with friends in Cambodia. 

Kieran was truly one of a kind, and that's no overstatement. Loving, kind, generous, fun - he would do anything for his friends. His infectious smile brought joy to all of us, with his sharp wit and hilarious sense of humour ensuring every moment spent with him was a laugh. 

After growing up with us in Retford, in 2014 Kieran set off in pursuit of something more. Kieran soon fell in love with Australia and was most recently living out his dream in Sydney. It was typical of Kieran that he was able to acquire residency in a country where so many others had tried and failed - all with a little help from his friends. 

Despite living on the other side of the world, Kieran made sure he never lost touch. He never failed to entertain us with pictures and stories that made us cry with laughter. An absolute diamond. It was clear to us all that he was at his absolute happiest out there - content with life and all that came with it, loving his new job and his countless friends in Sydney. 

This summer he spent a precious few months back home, which was nothing short of incredible. He made it a summer to never forget, with catch-ups over a drink as special as trips with him to the World Cup in Russia and music festivals.  

Everybody loved Kieran. His approach to life was inspiring and we'll miss him dearly. We can only begin to imagine how his family must be feeling at this moment in time, and all our thoughts are with them. 

Nobody wants to believe this has happened, but in the face of incredibly challenging times, we ask that we come together to help cover the cost of all logistics to bring our mate home to his family and friends. All donations greatly appreciated.
