Relief for Inez Ralphs
Donativo protegido
Inez has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) which has metastasized to her bones. She has been “fending for herself” since she was a young kid and just can’t now.
When I first met Inez she was 13(I was 23). She seemed like a kid alone in the world very much like I had been, and I invited her to my house as a safe place to hang out. She was then, (as she is now); an outgoing, loud, brash, tough as nails hard ass on the outside; but kind, loving, giving, longing for love on the inside, person. My 3 yr old daughter and I became quick friends and she became part of our family. We loved having her. She was a fun loving, happy go lucky kid who has always taken care of herself and it has not been easy. Inez loved working as a restorative house painter which is not always a female friendly career choice. Life has become extremely difficult for her now, and I would ask that we help relieve her from fear and worry.
While insurance is covering most of her health care costs, her personal/basic needs such as clothing, food, and rent are barely being met. She is living in a fourth floor walk up and needs to find a lower level room/efficiency. While friends and family are all hoping chemo therapy will give us more time with Inez, there are also end of life costs she’s concerned with.
Please help if you can and thank you very much.
