Recovery After the Fiery i-15 Crash in Las Vegas

This is a heart-wrenching story of resilience and survival after a devastating accident near Las Vegas left a woman and her beloved pets without a home. She had been traveling from Washington when a fiery crash destroyed her motorhome—her only home—and left her three animal companions, Chloe, Jim, and Mortis, with severe injuries.

Chloe, a brave and gentle dog, suffered severe burns to her face, body and paws, painful lacerations, and a knee injury that is requiring TPLO surgery after frantically escaping the flames and running down the highway.

Jim, a small Pomeranian, also endured burns and is now on the road to recovery.

Mortis, a tortoise, miraculously survived with a cracked shell and was miraculously found at the scene of the accident.

Since a Good Samaritan brought Chloe to our attention, Paws Patrol LV ("Love My Rescue Babies") has stepped in to cover the emergency medical expenses for her and her furry siblings, providing pain relief and essential care. However, with Chloe’s costly TPLO surgery and additional treatments ahead, there’s still a long road to healing.
