Recovering from Fire: Support Jessica's Family

Hello everyone, my name is Jessica. I am a young mother of two beautiful little girls. In October, we moved into a beautiful apartment. One night, we went to ShopRite to buy ingredients to make baked ziti. We prepared the baked ziti together. I had everything in the Pyrex pan, placed it upon the burners, and pressed preheat on my oven. Now, since we moved into this place, the oven would smoke a little and then it would go away, but this time it didn’t and it caught on fire. I called 911, and they told me not to attempt to put it out due to the oven being gas and to get my children and anyone else out of the house, which I did. Because of this, we were displaced and homeless for 12 weeks, which was very expensive. It took away any extra money I had to survive. The world is expensive as it is. I even hate doing this. This happened in October, and it took me this long to even create this, but I can no longer struggle the way I am, and I’m doing this for my daughters. This is the only thing I can think of. I’m trying other avenues, but it doesn’t hurt to try this as well. My friends have always been supportive, and I love you guys for that. Anything helps, even a dollar. We suffered so much water damage on things that are very hard to replace. As a single mom, things caught on fire. My medication caught on fire that I had to pay out-of-pocket for. Some of them I couldn’t get because even with the coupons, they were hundreds of dollars. I have several autoimmune diseases. If you could please help with anything, anything at all, my girls and I would greatly appreciate it. We’re looking to rebuild our home and finally feel at home in our brand new home.
