Urgent Help Needed: Rebuilding My Parents’ Home After Hurricane in Jamaica

My name is Camela Carter, and I’m reaching out with deep urgency and humility.

My elderly parents, aged 69 and 70, have just survived a devastating hurricane in Jamaica that completely destroyed their home. The roof was torn off, and they lost all their belongings. With no access to emergency services or communication, they were forced to spend the night on the veranda, exposed to the elements, until help arrived the next morning.

My father suffers from respiratory issues and this traumatic experience has placed both of my parents in a vulnerable and unsafe situation.

As their daughter living in London, I am doing everything I can to support them but I am facing financial challenges and cannot afford the full cost of rebuilding their home.
