My name is Jaime Byrd and I'm an artist with a gallery located in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC. After the devastation of Storm Helene, my husband and I have been struck with severe damages to our home as well as our art gallery which was completely destroyed.

My new renovated dream-gallery that I had been working towards for years had only been open for 8 short months before this disaster hit and took it all away. We are not only still reeling from the shock, but it has completely crushed my spirit.

Even though many of my original paintings were saved, we lost our entire inventory of prints, custom frames, office supplies, furniture, an entire kitchen, electronics, photography equipment, custom painting tables, easels, tools, sales counters, and so, so much more. All washed away into toxic mud and waste.

We want to rebuild, but cannot do it without your help.

I'm urging you to either buy one of the remaining paintings that are available on my website, or order a canvas print in a number of different sizes. I promise I will have these items sent out - even though it might take a month or so to do it.

If you prefer to help us financially, you may make a donation here, or through Paypal, or our Venmo accounts.

These donations are not only to help my gallery get back on track, but funds will go to helping other artists in need who have had financial loss and hardship.

Thank you SO much for any kind of help! Every bit is appreciated, and I promise when we get back on our feet, I will pay this forward when someone else needs it.
