Rebuild Hertzler Feed Store and Quarterfield Markets

The Hertzler family first moved to the area in 1968 and since 1983 has served the Powhatan community as the local destination for farm, pet, lawn, and garden supplies. Three generations of Hertzlers have worked together to create Quarterfield Markets – an indoor farmers market for producers, artisans, and growers to connect to the community. Opening weekend happened April 5 with over 1000 visitors! Tragically, a fire has destroyed the Hertzler Feed Store along with Quarterfield Markets. Our community has supported the Hertzlers for generations and I ask that we continue to show up and support what is great in our community!
