Rebecca Lindsay Cancer Treatment

 

My name is Sheila Lindsay. I am the eldest of 4 sisters. Sheila, Sabrina, Kate & Becca. Our youngest sister Rebecca Lindsay was diagnosed with a tumor on her brain stem 25+ years ago. She made a slow but steady recovery. Fast forward 25 years, and she has been dealt another cruel blow. The tumor has returned and is progressing at an alarming speed. She was re-diagnosed and started Chemotherapy in November of 2019 and has been continuing with it since. Due to the debilitating nature of her current treatment, her Physician's have decided to cease Chemotherapy and are looking in to alternative treatments and Clinical Trials of which there are few.  Rebecca lost her job after her diagnosis and has not been able to work or support herself financially since. She has applied for disability, but it has yet to be approved. She has Health Insurance that covers a modicum of treatment but is mediocre at best. The cost of care for a malignant brain tumor is exorbitant and continues to escalate. Her quality of life has deteriorated significantly. I was hesitant to appeal to family & friends for support, but was encouraged to do so. So I am reaching out. No donation is too small. All funds will be used for her future care and medical expenses.
