Help Us Bring Literacy & Hope to Children in Nassau

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

My son and I have an incredible opportunity to serve on a mission trip to Nassau this summer, and we need your help to make it possible. We will be assisting in a summer literacy program, helping children develop critical reading skills that will set them up for success in the coming school year.

In Nassau, many children are struggling academically due to the ongoing impact of hurricanes and the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Schools have been stretched thin, and too many students have fallen behind in their education—especially in reading. This mission is dedicated to bridging that gap by offering structured literacy support, mentorship, and encouragement to help these young learners thrive.

Literacy is deeply important to me. As a lifelong reader and learner, I cannot imagine a world without books. The ability to read is more than just an academic skill—it’s a gateway to opportunity, self-confidence, and a brighter future. My son and I are honored to play a small part in helping these children develop that foundation, and we would love for you to be part of this journey with us.
