Re Build Mills Family Ranch

My name is Kelsie. I am so sad to have to share this heart breaking story. Please read and than share. Help this amazing family re build from this devastation. I have known the Mills family for 8 years and they truly have become family to me! This family will go out of their way to help anyone in need. And have helped me so many times through my struggles. Niki shares the story of what exactly happened. But I'm asking please share this. They are completely destitute and anything at all will help. Currently staying in a camping trailer. But are in immediate need to replace incidentals to just to begin again. 





Grandma was watching the kids and animals while we were out of town Sunday/Monday. Got a call Sunday evening from her while on our way home from Texas. She said that the breaker box popped and she saw smoke coming from the ceiling. Fortunately she was able to get 2 kids, 3 dogs, and our kitty out of the house safely. We live in a rural area. It took the fire department 25 minutes to get to our house. There were 4 departments that responded: Snowflake, Concho, Vernon, and St Johns. The firefighters scrambled to get as many personal items from the house as they could. Some family photos were preserved. They also were able to move our chicken coop out of the back yard and safely relocated 5 chickens, 4 ducks, a turkey and 4 goats. The pig pens were away from the house enough to avoid the flames. Everyone got out of the blaze safely, unfortunately the home and most of its contents was a total loss. The kids have expressed their desire to stay on the ranch and rebuild our home.
