Help Phil Get Into Art Basel Show!

Phil Lear is one of the brightest and most talented artists to emerge from The Pikes Peak Region.  He is dedicated to his art. He is all consumed by his desire to create art. He rarely sleeps or eats when consumed by this passion (which is anytime that he happens to be awake).  From a young age, Phil has known that this was what he wanted to do. I remember seeing a photograph of him when he was about 5 years old and he was dressed like Pablo Picasso. 

Phil has been ready to break out of the Colorado art scene for quite some. He has recently been offered a show at Art Fusion Gallery in Miami, Florida. This show coincides with Art Basel, which is the largest international art gathering on the globe. This event is exactly what Phil needs to get the attention of gallery owners, collectors and magazine editors to take his talent to a whole new level. This is his dream. In order to make this dream a reality, Phil needs to come up with money. Something he doesn't have a lot of. Phil has not wanted to raise his prices in our region, which would prohibit everyday people from being able to attain fine art at an affordable price. But it is high time that he be able to make a living doing what he is obviously put on this Earth to do. 

He will need an entry fee/website fee/money for the tip, lots of supplies, money to have the artwork transported to Miami in August (it needs to be there at least a month in advance) and TIME.  He cannot make this dream a reality if he is working full time to barely make ends meet. 

Please help him to achieve his goal. Just think, if you already own a piece of Phil's, you will be making an investment yourself.

P.S. Phil would NEVER ask anyone for anything. He is not thrilled with this idea and will be embarassed when I post it. I have had a vision of this incredibly talented artist and swell fellow making it to the big time since I met him 10 years ago. Let's do this!
