Saturday, April 22nd, was the day my life changed. For the previous four months, I was having back pain. I thought it was just a pulled muscle, that is what the doctors had told me. They even suggested for me to change my mattress, thinking it was causing my back pain. People even thought that I was growing, and little did I know that something else was growing inside me. Something shocking, terrifying, and unbelievable.

It was Saturday, April 22nd, and I woke up with excruciating pain! I asked my dad to take me to the doctor, he made an appointment for me at 3pm. But throughout the morning, I couldn't take the pain, so I asked him to take me to the hospital, around 12:00pm. When I checked in to the hospital, the nurse told me that I would be out by 5pm. But boy was he wrong! I was seen by the doctor and after several test, he said it was CANCER! I was shocked, I cried, I was in disbelief, my world was crushed. I asked if it could be something different, but he responded that he was 99% sure. He wasn't sure if it was benign or malignant, or what type of cancer, so he sent me to Fontana for a biopsy and further testing.
