Hi Everyone
My Name is Ben and I’m here today to try and raise $8950 to purchase an Insulin pump for my wife Tracy.
Tracy was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 6 and has been battling with this condition now for 26 years, Tracy has already lost her mother and younger sister due to complications to diabetes, and came very close to losing her life and our beautiful daughter’s when she was born 6 years ago, due to complications she was born 12 weeks early, and now the risk is too high to try for a second child.
Tracy is now in stage 1 kidney failure and is slowly losing her sight and what an insulin pump would do is help control her blood sugar levels and slow the progression down, which would help to live a normal life.
I’ve not told her that I’m trying to raise this money because she is a proud person who does not like asking for help, however I would love for my wife to be around to see our daughters 18Th birthday and maybe even get married one day.
