Kirk Osborn (Randy) (ecv Gandolf)

Donation protected
Kirk Osborn (Randy), passed from this life on Monday morning, May 20th.  Randy had been battling Pneumonia for the past year.  Each urgent visit to the doctors at UC Davis in Sacramento would have them repeating his regimen of antibiotics.  As the months wore on, Randy lost over 100 pounds, then the breathing became so difficult, he was admitted to ER.  Over the ensuing few days, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer on his lungs, however, the Pneumonia made it impossible to treat.  In the matter of a couple of days, Randy’s deteriorating health prompted the medical staff to sedate him and put him on life support.  Randy did not recover from this and he finally gave up the battle.  We are asking for any donations that would help his wife, Jo, as they had no insurance, nor employment and Randy was on SSI.  Final plans are in the process, however, there are not sufficient funds to cover cremation, or other details for Randy’s final farewell.  Any amount would help, as Jo will have other bills to pay and it would be nice if she could have enough to sustain her until employment/stability can be finalized.

This is everything as it happened. The paragraph above was written by Randy's brother Ron after the fact and with a lot of thought. Thank you everyone who reads this for your time and support.

We just recently got the news that my grandpa Randy has lung cancer. We are not sure how far along the cancer is yet but he is currently on a breathing tube and sedated. I am trying to help raise money for the inevitable medical bills and the normal bills that he would normally take care of since he is unable now. Everything goes to him and my grandma Jo for whatever they might need to help him get better. Backstory: for the last year or so he has been in and out of the hospitals er department being sent home with just antibiotics and told he has pneumonia. Everytime he got sent home being told the same thing made him not want to go back. He was finally convince to go in a few days ago and the test results came back as cancerous today with more tests to be done. If you can only give a dollar, every dollar helps I promise you. Thank you for your support.

Grandpa passed away at about 3 am on may 20th 2019. He was made as comfortable as medically possible. He had always said he didnt want to live artificially hooked up to machines, that it wasnt any kind of life.
Any money raised will go straight to grandma jo to help her with any and all bills. Grandpa was the one who made all the money and we are trying to give her time to grieve before she has to worry about paying her bills. Thank you everyone for your calls and support to her and to uncle in their time of need. You are all so amazing and so loved.
