Ramdath’s Fire Rescue Fund

Firstly, I would like to thank you for clicking on this page, and taking the time in reading why I started this fund page, as we learn more about the tragic event that happened to my family in Trinidad.

 

The night of September 23rd, 2021, my mom’s brother (Uncle Nizam) and his family lost their entire home and belongings. They were not protected in a raging fire, that started around 10pm, where an arsonist willfully wanted to burn their house down while they were asleep.

**CLARIFICIATION**
According to the family, they were tortured from around 10pm and then later at like 1:30am, the fire that consumed their home was started. Just needed to clarify the timeframe of this whole situation

Luckily, they were all able to make it out alive without any harm to themselves. They all stood by and watched their home be engulfed by the fires as they immediately contacted emergency services.

 

This is truly every family worst nightmare!

 

My Uncle Nizam, Aunty Sharda and cousins, Nazeer, Sameer & Shareeda were all horrified, confused, and panicking as they watched everything they have known to be, all gone!

 

Here’s a little something about this family.

 

My Uncle and Aunt are always the first to offer help to anyone who needs it, for those who know them personally. They’d give the shirts of their backs if it helped comfort someone else.

 

They never ask for anything & I doubt they’d even consider making a go fund me….but they deserve it.

 

Many people have reached out to me asking to create this for the family in their time of need - a few have even asked if they could create one for them and surprise them with it.

 

This just goes to show humanity isn't nonexistent. The world is filled with chaos, but people still care for each other and want to help one another.

 

This fundraiser is solely for the Ramdath Family & their needs. (My Uncle & Aunt wouldn't accept help for themselves but they would never deny the love & support for their kids especially.)

 

All of the money raised will go directly to the Ramdath Family, to help care for and provide anything they may need, as they recover their home and/or a new home to possibly call their own.
