Ralph and Jeannie Baker (my parents) lost their home of 30+ years to the Alameda fire, in Phoenix Or. on Sept. 8th.
Luckily they are safe but, unfortunately their home and all of their belongings are a complete loss.
Currently, they are staying in a local hotel, for a short period of time, while they look for a permanent residence.
We have been able to help them with the basic necessities for the moment.
We realize the condition of the housing market in our area under these circumstances. Our hope is that this fund will help ensure that they are in the financial position to enter into a new home when one becomes available.
