Hello all,

I'm Martin (Arnez to many who know me) Rodriguez. Over the last several months, I have worked diligently to rebuild and establish myself in Raleigh, NC. Throughout this time, I have been humbled and blessed to maintain solid employment at one of the best bars in Raleigh. During this time, I have had one primary issue with working: transportation leaving work. I was afforded a chance to remedy this by the purchase of an e-scooter from my GM. Sadly, due to the negligence of many motor vehicle drivers, I have sustained two devastating injuries to my arm and leg. Initially, I broke my arm on April Fools' Day (lol?!?), and a week after my 39th birthday, I suffered a terrible leg injury that has disabled me for the last 7 weeks. At the moment, I am still hospitalized. Everything I have traversed to make whole has crumbled just like my leg when falling off my e-scooter! As I await my disability determination, I am stuck praying I don't lose my housing, phone, and storage (containing the ashes of my mother and grandfather). These are the things I am focused on retaining until I can do so being bilateral once again. Please help me in any way possible to stay afloat until I can do so myself once again!
