We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved dad, a man whose life was defined by hard work, discipline, and generosity. Once he set his mind to something, nothing could sway him. He had no background in business, but with sheer determination he built a successful tree-cutting business from the ground up.

Despite being extremely terrible with technology in a world so advanced, he still managed. He proved that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything. He was stubborn in the best way, always disciplined, and had a great sense of humour that lit up every room.

Most of all, Dad had a heart of gold. He cared more about others than himself, always giving, always helping, never asking for anything in return. We have never known another soul as selfless and kind.

We are setting up this page to honour his memory and to ask for support with funeral expenses and giving him the farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to us.

Thank you for keeping our dad’s spirit alive with your kindness, love, and prayers.

There have been many events that led to this heartbreaking day. My father was unfairly treated by the New Zealand system, and over time, it became too much for him to carry. I understand everyone's curiosity and confusion around this event, understand we are feeling the same. New Zealand failed my father.

May we never forget to check in on our loved ones, and may we begin to take men’s mental health with the seriousness it deserves.
