Hello

My name is Freya, I am 12 year old. I'm raising funds to attend the world scout jamboree in 2027. After a stormy selection camp, I am the only representative from Hyndburn. I need to raise £3500 in total, which is a lot.

I am hoping to raise that by doing a tuck shop at my scout group, attending fairs and selling chocolate boxes and sweets. I am also planning on doing some sponsored activities, such as littler picking, hiking and other things over the next year and a half.

This jamboree of 2027s theme is bravery, and is being held in Poland.

The Jamboree was set up to bring people from around the world together to share culture, language and learn and grow together. The First Jamboree was held in 1920 (shortly after WW1) and was attended by 34 countries. The last one was attended by 158 countries!

You only have once chance to be selected to go to a world scout jamboree. I'm looking forward to attending the world scout jamboree, I think I will learn and grow so much from this experience.

Any support no matter how small will make a difference. All the money raised will go towards supporting getting as many Scouts as possible to the Jamboree.
