Raising funds for my snakes vet bills

Hi my name is lin &I’m raising funds for my snake. We recently left our snake with a family member to keep safe while we moved and due to an argument between us adults, one of them decided to take their anger out on my pet. He was left with them from April 30th at 3pm until may 4th 4pm. While we left him there we were never informed of any issues with his tank or his placement (he was placed in an unused spare bedroom) but on may 4th after asking if it was ok if we stop by to pick him up, they let us know they moved him into a closet to keep him safe. I thought nothing of it considering they sent the text a couple hours before we stopped by but upon arriving, there was a whole different story to be told, my snake was in a literal pool of water, FREEZING, bruised, and bloody. I at first assumed the dog may have gotten him but after a visit to the vet, she ruled dog bites out so this is 100% human inflicted They won’t tell us what happened so all we’re left with is our own imagination, our poor baby all bruised and bloody, and almost 1,000 in vet bills. We have just moved temporarily, I’m 7 months pregnant, and this was an expense that we just did not foresee so we’re racking up credit card debt just trying to keep our noodle alive. We really appreciate ANY and all offers. Even if it’s just 50¢… we just want to ensure our snake gets to continue the long life he was supposed to have as he’s only 4 years old. We’re hoping to be able to take him to another vet for a second opinion as the first didn’t really give us any answers or solutions, but the cost is just not feasible at the moment. ETA: I raised the goal hoping to cover the past bill and the costs of the upcoming vet bill. 

I truly appreciate everyone who has donated. This has been such a relief financially and mentally to have so much support from you all. I’ve never experienced anything like this before and am truly amazed by the love & connectedness of the reptile community!!!
