Raise funds for a headstone for my uncle Patrick

Hi! My name is Padraig Green and I am 16 years old. On the 16/07/2024, my family and I lost my uncle Patrick to suicide. Unfortunately this has took a major toll on my family due to adverse changes in our daily lives.

The main goal for this gofundme is to raise funds for a headstone for Patrick’s grave in time for his 1 year anniversary. Currently, my family is struggling to find the money for this, especially with this year being quite busy. My little cousin is making his communion on the 17/05/25 which is not only a bittersweet milestone for him as he won’t have his dad by his side on such an important day, but it is also coming to an expense for my aunt. Due to unfortunate circumstances, my aunt and 2 cousins were placed into temporary accommodation around 6 months ago which has came with many challenges. They are situated on the other side of town from where they originally lived, meaning that they are isolated from their family and friends. They are currently on the waiting list for a house closer to home, which is unsettling as they could be waiting years. This on top of losing their beloved husband and dad is affecting them greatly. My other cousin is 14 and is feeling the effects of this greatly. The only real time she gets to see her friends is when she attends school, which is already a struggle due to having to travel a long distance, making her late most days.

All donations will go toward my uncle’s headstone. Any money left over will go towards planning a day for my aunt and 2 cousins to be able to relax and spend time together whilst trying to forget about the stress and devastation that the past year has left them in.
