Racing for Ava
On August 20, 2020 Ava Finger, a 15 year old from Juneau, Wisconsin was paralyzed from injuries sustained from a mountain bike crash while visiting Jackson Hole with her family. After a spinal fusion surgery in Jackson (where she celebrated her 14th birthday in the hospital) and months of spine rehab in Chicago, she is now home in Wisconsin facing her new challenges head on with an incredible fighting spirit.
On September 12, Tom Bruno and myself will be RACING FOR AVA, as we compete in Ironman Wisconsin, a race that Ava’s family volunteers to provide racer support. We look forward to providing a charitable gift to Ava at the finish line to help her overcome current and future challenges.
Racing for Ava,
