My daughter Alexa who is only 10 years old got diagnosed with Restrictive Cardiomyopathy on June 28, 2019 it was very hard on my family and of course her self to accept her condition and accept the only option we have is a heart transplant. After a long evaluation and nervously waiting  Alexa was finally presented to the multidisciplinary Heart Transplant Medical review board September 20, 2019 for consideration of heart transplant and was approved and placed on list October 10th. We do have insurance but insurance don’t cover for everything . As lost wedges from not being able to go to work because of her doctors appointment and all the expenses at hospital visits Alexa has a long journey ahead of her after transplant she will have a 6 month recovery time and will have to take 9 to 10 medications for the rest of her life not only that she will have many appointments to come before her transplant and after. We were not prepared for all of this specially now that I can’t work as much as I use to because of all the doctor appointment and honestly I don’t know how much we will have to pay after it’s all done. I’m asking for any donations to give my daughter this second chance to be a kid again run and play like she use to anything helps even just to share this post thank you!
