I am Tristin T. E. Hunt and my family and I are from Nassau, Bahamas. I am seeking funding on behalf of my brother, Travis Hunt, Age 19 years. I am Travis' oldest sibling. I am starting this page to help alleviate some of the medical costs for my family. All funding received will be forwarded in care of Travis and my parents, Anishka and Terrence Hunt, for payment of medical expenses incurred.
During the early morning hours of Thursday, August 8, 2019, Travis complained of not feeling well and was rushed to hospital. En route to hospital, Travis lost consciousness. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was non-responsive and subsequently intubated, and placed on life support in the Intensive Care Unit. After many tests, his prognosis is still unknown and doctors have confirmed that Travis had very little brain activity, and recommended that he be airlifted to the US for further tests and diagnosis.
Travis was then airlifted via emergency air ambulance in a non-responsive state, and admitted to Neurosurgery Critical Intensive Care Unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida on Sunday, August 11, 2019, where doctors immediately began assessing his condition and conducting numerous tests.
On arrival at Jackson Memorial Hospital Travis was still not breathing on his own and had no physical or mental response.
Please help us to raise money to assist and defray Travis’ escalating medical costs. 100% of donations will help pay for medical expenses incurred for Travis' emergency airlift, and expenses at both Doctor's Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. There is no donation amount too small, anything is appreciated.
