My name is Nick! I’m a 29 year old queer Mexican-American. I’m in need of financial assistance so that I can move out of my mother’s living room into a place of my own, and eventually seek out gender affirming care.

I’ve been here at my mom’s since suffering a series of mental and physical health episodes back in 2023 that left me needing to move back in under her care so that I could seek out the help I needed, and am now ready to move back out after keeping a steady job and being approved for a room in Brooklyn.

Unfortunately, I’m currently living paycheck to paycheck and am not able to afford the combination of first month’s rent, security deposit, as well as paying my way out of my mom’s place so she isn’t left in the lurch.

I’m setting my goal at $2,500, but truly any amount/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
