Help Me Recover From This Nightmare

Hi everyone, my name is Dia and I need your help. I paid Life Legacy Venue $2500 to host my son’s Celebration of Life Ceremony and the owner, Devin Brooks, basically scammed me out of the money. He and his business was evicted from the premises and he took the money and ran. My son, Rashad, passed away 3 weeks ago. I decided to use Serenity Funeral Home. They recommend using Life Legacy Venue at 3040 W Cheyenne Ave, NLV 89032 for his Celebration of Life Ceremony. Once I toured Life of Legacy Venue, I liked what I saw and I booked it on site. I signed a contract for 8/17/24 11am-2pm for $2500. About a week prior to my son’s event, Devin Brooks basically closed down the business, and ran off with all the money. Not just my money, there were other victims too. I was not the only victim this person’s criminal actions has affected. I am asking for help, this was just another devastating blow on top of my son’s death. If you can give, anything helps. I’m just trying to recoup the $2500 that I lost.
