Help Patricia Fight Cancer

In May, my free and loving mother, Patricia went for her routine colonoscopy screening at which time the Doctor gave her news that no one wants to hear, he did not like what he saw and labs were obtained. The labs came back cancerous and she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Adenocarcinoma of the rectum as well as cancer in her lymph nodes. The news is unimaginably daunting for all of us.

A port was inserted in my mother's chest and she began her intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The treatments are 4 times a week in hopes of shrinking the mass enough that the Oncologist thinks a highly invasive surgery can be performed in attempts to remove it. These treatments can go on for up to 6 months. My mother has an incredibly long and hard road of fighting ahead of her.

Patricia means the world to so many people and those who know her know that she is a light in this world and has been resilient her whole life. Despite this catastrophe she is determined to fight and be cancer free and get back to enjoying time with her friends, children, and grandchildren.

Patricia needs your help to get through this.
