My name is Charlotte and I’m the partner of the skipper of Lady T

As some people may be aware,

on22nd May the French navy took the British fishing boat and impounded it for fishing in French waters.

The skipper and crew were held in France and the skipper was interviewed and is facing a massive fine.

This is all down to an admin error and a permit not being issued automatically.

When the boat reached the France they took the whelk pots and the boats catch and they won’t get the pots back to use them again.

As a family this has taken its toll on us all.

I’m looking for help to raise money for the fine, loss of earnings and cover the cost of getting more whelk pots which you can imagine aren’t cheap.

So far we are about £55.000 down for everything from fuel to equipment.

There are still things adding up and costing more and more.

Any donations however small will be much appreciated.

Any money over what we need will be donated to a fishing charity.
