Kick cancer to the curb

Those who have had the opportunity to be in the company of Yolanda Candeias-Ferreira know that not only is she a selfless person, dedicated wife and mother to beautiful 1 year old Isaías but she is a loving, empathetic, humble friend. Everyone that knows her can attest to Yolanda's generous nature. Even in her job at the Probate Court she is consistently making sure children, the elderly, and all people dealing with the most difficult and sensitive of times are handled with care and compassion. Yolanda goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for every time.

The past few years have not been kind to Yolanda and her beautiful family. January of 2019 her husband was hospitalized for a serious illness, later that year she and her beautiful son contracted a bacteria during delivery that would put Yolanda in ICU and lead to the untimely tragic death of her beautiful son Santiago. Just when her family thought she caught a break, Yolanda's doctor discovered a lump on her breast that we now know to be ER+, PR+ breast cancer at the age of 37 years young.

Due to the type of Chemotherapy her doctors are requesting, Yolanda is not allowed to work, and her son is not allowed to attend daycare. Anyone that knows Yolanda knows how difficult it is for her to not be working. She is a dedicated employee and has held 2 or more jobs since the age of 16. Not only can she not work, but her husband also can not work during her chemo weeks to take care of the baby. With the mounting medical bills this is an incredibly stressful situation to be in. To say the least this family is facing a difficult road ahead. Yolanda is the most giving person I know. Now is the time to come together and return our love and support to Yolanda and her family. All donations will be given directly to Yolanda and her family to help with medical bills, general grocery expenses, procedures and treatment.
