Hi everyone, I'm Hannah from Hannah and Jake on Youtube.  The past year or so has been a huge change for me.  After years of struggling with my identity and hiding I finally decided to come out as a trans woman.  First to my close friends, and more recently to my audience online.  I can't express how much more comfortable and happy I've been since being open and honest about who I am; especially after the outpouring of support from those online who've been watching me for years.  About 9 months ago I began HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) unfortunately my endocrinologist is in Detroit, a little over 2 hours away from me.  On top of that the appointments and regular blood test expenses have been getting too much for me to handle on my own.  I feel terrible having to ask for help with this, but it's the only way I'll be able to not only continue HRT and make my Doctor appointments every few months , but also to start saving money for gender confirmation surgery when the time comes. From what I can gather in terms of cost for full medical transition, the estimates range wildly, but an average I've found is around 20k. I set this campaigns goal at half that, frankly I don't even expect to get that but I had to pick some sort of goal so I thought half of the average sounded reasonable. I have a long way to go with my transition, both medically and socially, but all of your support whether monetary or just kind words  are how I'll be able to get through this being the person I want to be.  Thanks for taking the time to check out my page, Best Wishes- Hannah
