Protect Independent Creators was made to help independent content creators who are being targeted by industry corporations & powerhouses. A certain Record Label has been using their influence, connections, & resources to make an attempt to silence multiple creators & voices in order to further their own goals / agendas. If this continues, this sets a precedent for all creators & media as a whole. Nobody should be silenced for speaking their opinions or going over facts that may not align with certain individuals. A certain Record Label has been using their connections with the Law & Court System, along with having access to unlimited money & resources to go after independent creators who they know won’t be able to put up a fair fight. With the cost of legal fees alone, independent creators who are being targeted will have no choice but to accept the outcome of a difficult situation, in which they never stood a chance in. This fundraiser could be the start to help change that. All donations will be given to independent creators who are in an active legal battle with these corporations that are looking to silence them.
