Kelly Jarossy's medical expenses
On September 2, 2017 our sister was involved in a fatal car accident on the Garden State Parkway south bound. Her boyfriend Daniel Forrest died in the accident and Kelly was left fighting for her life in the trauma ICU at Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center City Campus in Atlantic City NJ. She has not regained consciousness since the accident and remains in a coma on a ventilator. She had spinal surgery to place 12 plates in her thorassic spine to stabilize the spinal cord due to several fractures, damaged ligaments and a epidural hematoma. In addition to her spinal injury she has a deep brain injury as well as several broken ribs, a broken sternum, and broken jaw. Once she does regain consciousness she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We have been told she will need extensive rehabilitation. We have also been told that she will have years of recovery ahead of her but that insurnace maxes out around 100 days. Anyone who knows Kelly knows how strong she is and how much her kids mean to her. She needs to heal and get back to being the active mom who is always on the sidelines cheering on her kids at a football game. Her daughter Kailei is 11 and just started middle school in Barnegat. Dylan is 9 and plays football for Barnegat Bengals. We know her love for them will be the strength she needs during this long road of recovery.
