Our journey with Otis began a few weeks ago with what we thought was Pancreatitis. It turned out that this was a symptom of a bigger issue with his liver which after yesterday’s ultrasound will require a biopsy to diagnose the problem. We have exhausted our savings and have already spent $3600 in the last two weeks or diagnostics, labs, ultrasound, and medicines including Denimairin, metrodiazonole, Cirinia, and benepronorphrine. My soul has been broken with the thought of loosing this precious creature. Thank you so much for your support. We are using the Animal Hospital of Pensacola if you have any questions or need any verifications.

Update 2/10/20 Today Otis has his follow up this morning to check his enzymes, bloodwork, urinalysis, and one more ultrasound to see how his liver is doing. He has been on the denemarin medicine and milk thistle for a month now. He has improved somewhat from being on the medicine and hopeful that we can get some definitive answers on his prognosis and god willing we can avoid surgery. Fingers crossed and please keep him in your thoughts. We are ever grateful for all of the support.
